A Family Weekend in Gurgaon
Gurgaon is at its best on a weekend with the family — the office towers go quiet, the malls fill up, and there's more to do with children than most people realise: trampoline parks and go-karting tracks, an ice rink, a water park, a photography museum, green parks in the middle of the city and cafés on the edge of the Aravallis. This guide gives you a ready-made two-day plan for Gurugram, plus swaps for rainy days, toddlers, teenagers and tighter budgets. 1. How to use this plan

2. Saturday morning: parks and fresh air (central Gurgaon)
Start early, before the heat and the crowds. Leisure Valley Park in Sector 29 is the city's big central green, opening at 6 AM — good for a walk, a run-around and a picnic breakfast. In Sushant Lok, Joggers park is a smaller neighbourhood option.
Right next to Leisure Valley is Appu Ghar - Oysters Water Park — an amusement and water park that's a full half-day on its own in summer — and Smaaash near HUDA City Centre, with gaming, VR and bowling for older kids.
Breakfast or brunch nearby: Bikanervala at City Center, or Haldiram's - Gurugram in the Sector 29 Huda Market (pure veg).
3. Saturday afternoon: jump, race or skate
Pick one big activity, depending on ages and energy:
- Trampolines: SkyJumper Trampoline Park - ILD Trade Centre on Sohna Road (Sector 47) or SkyJumper Trampoline Park - M3M Broadway (Sector 71); Zooper India Trampoline Park at Ardee City.

Further out, Ghamroj Natural Waterfall is a monsoon-season outing, and Elevate Adventure Park on Faridabad Road offers adventure activities.

Prefer something calmer? Museo Camera Centre for the Photographic Arts in DLF Phase IV (Sector 28) is a museum of cameras and photography that works well for curious older children.
6. Sunday afternoon: malls, markets and a treat
Wind down with a stroll and some shopping. Ambience Mall is the all-rounder; Airia Mall on Sohna Road and Good Earth City Center Mall are easier to park at; DLF Galleria and Galleria Market have a more open-air, neighbourhood feel. Squeeze the best of it into a single day by staying in one part of the city.
