Every salon here is a real Gurgaon360 listing. We don't rate salons or publish prices. For spas, we've deliberately named only well-established hotel spas and a recognised spa chain — many online "massage centre" listings are hard to verify, so we've kept them out of this guide. Always book treatments with a business you can check.

For weddings, look for make-up artists who offer trials and home or venue visits. 8. A quick guide to salon services

• Haircut & styling — most unisex salons offer a wash, cut and blow-dry; stylists at senior level usually cost more.
• Colour — global colour, highlights and balayage; ask for a strand or patch test first.
• Hair treatments — keratin and smoothening need several hours and aftercare; ask which product brand is used.
• Skin — clean-ups and facials at salons; medical treatments (peels, lasers) belong in a dermatology clinic.
• Nails — manicures, pedicures, gel and extensions; check that tools are sterilised.
• Waxing & threading — quick services most salons offer without an appointment.
• Bridal packages — usually a trial, the wedding-day look and extra family make-up; get the inclusions in writing.

9. Before you book

• Book ahead on weekends and before festivals — Diwali and Karva Chauth weeks fill up fast.
• Ask for the stylist by name once you find someone you like.
• Patch-test new hair colours and skin treatments.
• Check packages — many salons sell prepaid memberships, but read the expiry terms.
• Spas: choose a hotel spa or established chain, and be wary of listings that advertise home or "outcall" massage.
